Ayodhya: Angry Mob Thrashes Man For 'Kissing His Wife' While Bathing In Saryu River — WATCH

New Delhi: A video has gone viral in which a man is seen getting thrashed by the public for allegedly kissing his wife while bathing in the Saryu river in Ayodhya. The incident took place while both of them were bathing in the Saryu river in Uttar Pradesh's Ayodhya city. The police have started an investigation into the matter. A police officer told news agency PTI on Thursday that the exact date of the incident is yet to be confirmed even though some claimed it had happened at Ram ki Paudi ghat on Tuesday. The purported video widely shared on social media shows the man being dragged away from his wife from the water as the group of people continued to push and hit the man. Meanwhile, the Ayodhya police said officials have been asked to investigate and take necessary legal action in the matter.
